Heat pump drying is the gentler, cheaper way to dry, and the Teknix TK5HP9HW makes the most of it. Rather than venting warm air away, it recycles the heat it has already generated, which is why a 9kg load costs so much less to run than it would in a conventional condenser.
Sensor drying is what stops you over-drying. Probes read the moisture in the drum and end the cycle the moment the load is ready, protecting fabrics from the shrinkage and wear that comes from needless extra heat, and saving the energy those extra minutes would have used.
Winter Guard means the dryer keeps working properly in an unheated garage or utility room, where many heat pump machines struggle once the temperature drops. The Flex Rack holds trainers and wool flat so they dry in shape without tumbling.
Fifteen programmes are selected from a clear LED display, with a 30 minute quick dry for the things you need now and a child lock to keep settings where you left them.
